Pre-Waxing Guidance
Be sure to inform your therapist if you are diabetic, using any products
designed to peel the skin, if you are sunburned or if you have
recently had any laser treatment.
Post-Waxing Skin Care
Your skin may be more sensitive than usual : it takes a while for
hair follicles to recover, so treat your skin with extra care for
the first 48 hours.
Avoid : exercise or wearing tight-fitting clothing which might cause
excessive perspiration

Anti-bacterial wash products can help keep skin super-clean and
moisturising makes a difference : some aftercare products even claim
to reduce re-growth.
Visit Home Use Products > Body for Caron Laboratories' Depilspa.
After the first 48 hours, regular removal of dead skin cells with
a mildly abrasive scrub or buffing cloth (exfoliation) make it less
likely that new hair growth will become trapped within dryer, older
skin layers (ingrown hairs).
Periods between waxing treatments vary, depending upon thickness
and coarseness of re-growth. Your ZIPT Day Spa therapist
will discuss timing with you, so that you can keep that smooth finish
under control.
Most people react well to waxing, with only a very small percentage
finding that waxing and their skin simply do not agree.
